Full disclaimer – This piece was previously purchased and was unfortunately damaged in shipping. Shipping damage is out of my control and when I apologized to the customer and informed them to send the piece back to me for a full refund, they spitefully broke the frame even further and shipped it back to me haphazardly because they were mad that the piece was originally damaged beyond my control.
So this piece has been reborn. A hand raised Luna moth and a rosy maple moth with preserved florals and gold and silver star embellishments. The frame has been reinforced with strong epoxy and then gilded in gold in the Japanese style of Kintsugi.
